12019930_1135161669827393_8497320741420460340_nThis semester is already flying by, and so Ive had my nose deeply buried in paint (maybe a little bit literally)!

Ive been continuing in my exploration of shapes and light that I have observed from nature. I am using those to create an inspiring experience.

Ive been trying to get out of my comfort zone. Its been frustrating but also exciting. I feel like I am just on the edge of figuring out how to portray what I feel in my soul, but I have no idea how to get there.

Here are the 4 paintings Ive been working on, from start to present. My studio space in class is nice and big and next to the window (YES!).

I started out with four 2×4 ft. canvases.  My plan was to keep them all similar……..

but somewhere along the way they morphed into 2 separate studies.
